Aircraft maintenance
G&K avio-servis d.o.o. CAO is approved to maintain a large group of non-complex aircraft with one or two piston engines up to a total of 2730kg MTOM and Cessna 414 aircraft type.
We also offer aircraft painting, modifications and structural repairs in accordance with approved instructions.
- Continuous airworthiness management
- According to the current approval, we can provide continuous airworthiness management for aircraft up to 2730kg MTOM and components on it.
Aircraft belonging to the field of general aviation:
Airplanes with one or two piston engines up to max. 2730 kg MTOM, which is indicated on the approval of the organization as a group of aircraft and not individually (light aircraft). Gliders. Other non-complex aircraft, turbine engine aircraft and 'non-light' aircraft, i.e. heavier than 2730 kg MTOM, which are specially approved by the Civil Aviation Agency and added to the approval of the organization as an individual type and not as a group.
Engine maintenance
Maintenance of piston engines
G&K avio-servis d.o.o. is the only CAO in Slovenia approved for rebuilding and repairing Lycoming and Teledyne Continental piston engines (4&6 cylinders), and we also carry out repairs of Rotax 912 and 914 series engines. Ferd Kočevar, the advantage of our organization is in better diagnostics and successful solving of problems in the operation of only these.
Component maintenance
G&K avio-servis d.o.o. is the only CAO in Slovenia in the field of general aviation approved for renovations and repairs of components such as:
- Magnets Slick,
- TCM/Bendix
- Alternators
- Starters
- Pipes
It is precisely because of his deep knowledge of the functioning of the components that Mr. Ferd Kočevar, the advantage of our organization is in better diagnostics and successful solving of problems in the operation of only these.
Approval at the component level means that the customer can only send to our service a component that is not attached to the aircraft. After completing the maintenance of such a component, our organization issues an EASA form 1 certificate, which is a condition for reinstallation on the aircraft!
Aircraft painting and structural repairs
G&K avio-servis d.o.o. CAO is approved for painting aircraft and aircraft structures.
We can also carry out more complex structural repairs and modifications. We also carry out composite structure repairs. An independent painting chamber allows painting the entire aircraft.
Implementation of modifications
G&K avio-servis d.o.o. CAO is authorized to carry out modifications in accordance with approved instructions.
The most common modifications are carried out on the basis of service bulletins issued by the manufacturer of the aircraft or component, or the holder of the type certificate. More demanding modifications are carried out on the basis of STCs (Supplement Type Certificates), i.e. 'substitute type certificates'. We do not carry out unauthorized modifications, but in case of ambiguity, we are ready to assist in obtaining the appropriate document that allows individual modifications implemented in aircraft that fall under European legislation.
